Just rest in peace baby

Al Davis hasn’t been dead for 24 hours and people are already saying some foul shit. Really people? Really?!?

Davis was a legend. The people bashing him, probably have no idea what he did for the Raiders and the NFL.

When hiring minorities was taboo, Davis couldn’t care less. He hired Black coaches if he believed they could help the Raiders win. He hired Tom Flores (the first Hispanic head coach), who won two Super Bowls for the Silver and Black. Davis made the Raiders an Icon. The term “Raider Nation” was the first of it’s kind. When you hear other teams putting “Nation” after their name, they are jacking Davis’s style.

Al was a rebel. His fued with Commissioner Pete Rozelle is legendary. Nothing was more sweet than Al Davis not only winning a $35 million dollar lawsuit against the NFL, but also winning Super Bowl XV the following year which meant his sworn enemy (Rozelle) had to present him with the coveted Lombardi Trophy.

Al Davis was the main reason the NFLPA has collective bargining rights. He was responible for the AFL/NFL merger, which gave us the Super Bowl. He brought the vertical passing game to the forefront of the league. Daivs gave John Madden a shot at coaching the Raiders – which resulted in winning Super Bowl XI. Would Madden gone on to be a symbol of Monday Night Football if Al hadn’t hired him? It makes you wonder what EA Sports would be calling their popular NFL video game.

I do realize Al Davis held the Raiders back. The last decade has been rough but you take the good with the bad. Al did more good for the Raiders and the NFL than most people want to give him credit for. Most people who talk trash about Al Davis, are fans of teams who will never have an owner accomplish what he accomplished. To quote a good friend of mine, “Al Davis was the Steve Jobs of the NFL, he changed things.”

Davis’ only flaw was loving something so much to the point he just couldn’t let it go…football. In the end he was only human. If you can’t comprehend that and if you choose to disrepect the man, then maybe you should choose to put your mouth around the barrel of a Desert Eagle and pull the trigger.

Al Davis, just rest in peace baby. Godspeed.

Sean Hannity: “Can You Imagine Monday Night Football Without Hank?”

Sean Hannity defended someone who said something stupid on Fox News? Wow, I’m shocked…SHOCKED I TELL YOU!!!

It’s hypocritical for a “network” that freaks out every time a left wing entertainer gives an opinion on politics, to have the nerve to ask an entertainer for their poltical opinion. Then again, this is Fox News I’m talking about.

I think Hannity was kicked in the head by a horse when he was a child because he doesn’t seem to get it. ESPN is in the revenue business. Having some loud mouth drunk (who’s probably a racist) doing your intro isn’t good for business. Plus ESPN doesn’t have Rupert Murdoch’s deep pockets to cover the costs of advertisers jumping ship.

I actually can imagine Monday Night Football without Hank Williams Jr. I watch MNF for, gee I don’t know…THE FOOTBALL! But if you need an intro Sean, call ESPN and tell them to put Faith Hill on. She already does the open for Sunday Night Football, she’s easy on the eyes, and if she’s a racist, she hides it really well.

Did I mention she’s easy on the eyes?

Hank Williams Jr. Compares Obama Playing Golf With Boehner To “Hitler Playing Golf With Netanyahu”

When I was a kid I remember my Uncle telling me how much of an idiot Hank Williams Jr. is. Looks like he was right after all.

Today (October 3rd), Williams shared his views about President Barack Obama while on Fox and Friends…

GRETCHEN CARLSON (co-host): I’d love to pick your brain about politics.

HANK WILLIAMS JR.: Yep.

CARLSON: All right. So, I’ll start with an easy question, who do you like in the GOP race?

WILLIAMS: Nobody.

STEVE DOOCY (co-host): Nobody?

WILLIAMS: You remember the — you remember the golf game they had, ladies and gentlemen?

DOOCY: Yeah?

WILLIAMS: Remember the golf game?

DOOCY: Boehner?

WILLIAMS: That was one of the biggest political mistakes ever.

CO-HOSTS: Why?

WILLIAMS: That turned a lot of people off. You know, watching, you know, it just didn’t go over.

CARLSON: You mean when John Boehner played golf with President Obama?

WILLIAMS: Oh, yeah! Yeah. And Biden and Kasich, yeah. Uh-huh.

CARLSON: What did you not like about it? It seems to be a really pivotal moment for you.

WILLIAMS: Come on. Come on. It would be like Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu, OK?

CARLSON: OK.

WILLIAMS: Not hardly. In the country this shape is in, the shape this country’s in, I mean, no, I don’t think so.

BRIAN KILMEADE (co-host): Yeah, I don’t understand that analogy, actually.

DOOCY: Well, it’s — it’s out there.

WILLIAMS: Well, I’m glad you don’t, brother, because a lot of people do. You know, they’re the enemy. They’re the enemy.

KILMEADE: Who’s the enemy?

WILLIAMS: Obama! And Biden! Are you kidding? The Three Stooges.

DOOCY: That’s only two.

For the ones who don’t read much, Netanyahu is the Prime Minister of Israel. ESPN has pulled Williams’ opening from Monday Night Football for his asinine comments.

When the Dixie Chicks bashed President Bush, they got crucified by their fanbase. I don’t see this happening to Hank though. I won’t explain why, but let’s just say a lot of his fanbase probably enjoys putting on white hoods.

And just for the record, if Hitler and Netanyahu actually played golf, I highly doubt Adolf could get out of the bunker.

Why they hate Obama
