Doctor Strange Trailer
I’ve always been down for some strange.
Marvel dropped the first trailer for Doctor Strange tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I like what I see so far but, I definitely didn’t see enough to know if this film will be good or not. Considering Marvel’s recent track record, I have no reason to believe this movie will not bring the ruckus on November 4th.
My only gripes (so far) is the casting of the Ancient One and Baron Mordo. Tilda Swinton is a marvelous actress, but I just don’t see the reason to “white wash” the role. Maybe the character’s appearance is an illusion? Also, what’s the point of changing the race of Baron Mordo? Nothing against Chiwetel Ejiofor (damn good actor), I’m just a comic book geek who embraces the source material.
I never understood interventions. What’s the point of being told you drink too much from a room full of reasons why you drink in the first place?
