Can the Chargers take down Satan’s Team?
All season long we have heard nothing but how good the New England Patriots are. Let’s not kid ourselves people. The Pats are good. Very very good. But they are also playing in a league filled with sorry excuses for NFL franchises. Not to mention the fact that they have been filming other teams to the extreme for years, getting questionable calls in their favor (Ravens game), and playing injured teams that could take them down if they were at full strength.
Speaking of teams that are injured…
A healthy San Diego Chargers squad would give the Patriots a run for their money. The point spread is 14 points, which is a joke if you ask me. The Bolts are out for blood after what happened last year in the playoffs. The game will be close. I’m picking the Patriots to win because of the Chargers injures but the game is going to be ugly, brutal, and competitive. It’s a shame that we can’t see what San Diego could do at full strength. Granted they got served earlier in the season by New England, but this is a different team now. Ever since San Diego got bent over by the Jaguars, they have been playing with a purpose. But unfortunately the Chargers have an up hill battle against them.
And here is something to think about…
The Patriots aka Satan’s team are playing at such a high level that free agents will come to them for a discount. This never would have happened if the cheating (see Spygate) was caught in its infancy. And how did Roger Goodell choose to punish Satan’s team for this? He chose to go easy on them by not taking away both of their first round picks for next season. Which means New England will have the 7th pick in the 2008 draft. Yes people, the evil dynasty has only just begun.
Who will step up and slay the foul beast?
I never understood interventions. What’s the point of being told you drink too much from a room full of reasons why you drink in the first place?
