Maybe next year OSU…no probably not
I was watching the abortion known as the BCS Championship last night. I laughed when Ohio State was up 10-0. I was hoping the Buckeyes would continue to rack up unanswered points because I KNEW THEY WERE NOT GOING TO WIN THE GAME!!!!
The poor state of Ohio…
- Last year OSU lost in the championship game in football and basketball to Florida.
- Last season the Cavaliers got pimp slapped by the Spurs in the NBA finals.
- The Indians go up 3-1 in the ALCS and then choke.
- The Browns win 10 games but still fail to make it to the playoffs
And now Ohio State once again gets sodomized in the BCS Championship game. A game they had no business in playing in the first place. Thank you LSU for proving once again that Ohio is the Loser State.
The SEC owns the Big 10. I laughed at Buckeye fans telling me OSU had the best defense in the nation. Oh really? Let us examine the first 5 teams Ohio State played…
- Youngstown State
- Akron
- Washington
- Northwestern
- Minnesota
Gee, I wonder why OSU had such a highly ranked defense. The best team Ohio State played in the regular season was Illinois. And guess what? They lost that game! OSU beat a flawed system to get into the championship game. There’s something inherently wrong when a team who plays a soft schedule and then loses in November, scores its biggest victory without even playing. And because of this, I’m not truly convinced that LSU is the best team in the country. Since there is no playoff, I would have liked to see USC vs. Georgia in the Rose Bowl. The Trojans and the Bulldogs are the best two teams in the nation. If that game had taken place, there would have been less doubt about who is the best.
And people wonder why I can’t fully embrace College Football.
I never understood interventions. What’s the point of being told you drink too much from a room full of reasons why you drink in the first place?
