The seventh inning of the Indians-Rays game yesterday made me chuckle.
A routine call was almost FUBAR. Fortunately for the Indians, an umpire decided to actually do his job. Great!
But why was the broadcaster surprised? Is first base umpire Jerry Meals retarded? He used common sense by asking Scott Barry (home plate umpire) for help. It’s what you’re suppose to do. Yes, I’m looking at you Mike DiMuro!!
Only in America can a normal person receive a gold star for using their brain. Some where Chris Rock is shaking his head in disgust.
I never understood interventions. What’s the point of being told you drink too much from a room full of reasons why you drink in the first place?
