Is This Bliss or Soulmate

To my knees I fell for eyes of bluish green
Through all the photos viewed and the tellings of our dream
We followed desires both held of small
Just purest of love before night fall
I, damsel, searched for arms of soldier
Far cross the earth they longed to hold her
Happiness is what you seek
I'll pray for you, lying eyes to sleep...
For wings of safety, from desperation
Beyond the sands of time and nation
Wasn't sure I'd recognize this call
But felt the pull of destined fall
Here before me, am I blinded by fate?
This magical mist, is this bliss or soulmate?

They are all about someone or something. And, it depends on how you read the words...maybe I didn't lose anything at all...then again, I might have. They are all personal, though...that is the key!

I like the way that you write, but don't you think that if you were to find your soulmate, that would be bliss? Maybe instead of bliss you should have put lust or something similar..... just my opinion.

The reason I used the word "bliss" is to make the reader use his/her imagination a bit more than the norm. - You see, it's easy to "fall in love," or so we believe it to be. But...just because "bliss" feels like "love," doesn't mean that it is what it feels to be. Maybe...just maybe, "love" is only a mere imagery, with an added bit of faith... If that is the case, than all we must do is imagine "bliss," at the same time of the person who we are wanting to "love" and, tada... So it is! - Or, maybe...as we dream it to be...God has created each of us our very own "Soulmate." (My opinion is a bit different, but that is another story...=)

~Or maybe your just talking in circles to confuse the masses . Naw j/k I get what your saying. Yet how can YOU tell if BLISS isn't LOVE? . You CAN'T. Well you can't as long as your in bliss. But whose to say that bliss isn't love? Generally it all comes down to opinion, but I believe that bliss is maybe a beginning stage to love. Even if that's so, then doen't, in theory, make bliss in actuality love? ~
