A latest round of rumors from Taiwan predicts the arrival of Apple iPhone 5 and iPad 3 in October 2011. The new rumor, brought into light by DigiTimes, validates the former guess that Apple iPad’s next-version will get a more advanced display with high resolution.
Along with iPad 3, there will indeed be either an iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S. DigiTimes breaks the former speculation that both iPhone model will come out this fall. There will be only a single model this year with the next model will come out early next year.
Since Apple launched beta edition of its latest mobile OS update, iOS 5 at its Worldwide Developer Conference early June 2011, there have been enormous rumors over the release date, features and tech specs of the Cupertino technology company’s next tablet and smartphone iterations.
Apple iPad tablet PC was first launched in April 2010. Since then the device has been ruthlessly dominating the tablet market leaving less place for its competitors like Samsung Galaxy Tab. Apple iPad, according to a recent comScore survey, dominates 90 percent of the global tablet market.
Apple rolled out second version of iPad in March 2011. The company is speculatively working to bring out third version of its tablet by this fall thanks to the overwhelming popularity of iPad.
