I only go to the gym once a day, and haven't made time to do cardio separate..which will happen later. But..
It feels more natural to me when im trying to get in a little cardio, which is only 1-2.5 miles, nothing heavy like 40 minutes straight, before my weights, instead of after. If im lifting heavy, afterwards its nearly impossible to do anything but stretch, eat and rest. For legs, I believe a mile run is an excellent warmup, and that constitutes my cardio for the dad (like I said, nothing to long on the cardio).
I've always heard to do cardio post-weights, to burn off the fat, since your weight session supposedly burns off the carbs you've eaten earlier.
before or after? Experience..
