  • The Game's Video For 'Red Nation' Banned For MTV, BET

The Game filmed a music video in early April for his Lil Wayne-assisted single, "Red Nation," but just this week, it's been revealed that he clip has been deemed too controversial for rotation on MTV and/or BET.

    Thus, it's been banned.

The Compton rapper took to his Twitter account to express his frustration over his upcoming music video being banned from major music networks.

"So BET 'BANNED' the #REDNation video !!!!! Said me & @liltunechi were too gang affiliated in it. Thoughts?" Game asked his followers (@TheGame).

Despite the setback, Game seemed to laugh off the situation ... with an "oh well" attitude.

"This just in: the video so HARD it just got 'BANNED' from MtV too ha ha ha ha....F*** IT !!!! I'm premering it on Thursday online MYSELF!!!" wrote the rapper.

He then proceeded to list outlets where the video could still be viewed. "Guess ya single gotta be called 'Bubble Gum' to get love ha ha ha....#REDNation premiering on AOL, Vivo & Worldstar Thursday. #bannedFromTV. Who needs the they tube when you got 'YOUTUBE.com,' " Game continued.

"They banned 'ONEBLOOD', then soon as it got over 1,000,000 views on YouTube, they jumped on the sack."

Back in April, Game told Rap-Up.com that "Red Nation" is a dark video, his darkest since dropping the clip to debut single "How We Do" back in 2005.

"I haven't done a video this dark since 'How We Do.' But it's looking crazy," he explained. "The first scene I was in army fatigues and had a bunch of lunatics behind a gate going crazy, and I was kinda giving it up in the dirt. It made me feel like Kanye in that one video ['Can't Tell Me Nothing'] where he was in the desert doing his thing."

Game's fourth LP, The R.E.D. Album, is scheduled to hit stores this summer.
