Chino XL continues to beef up his acting resume and will star in a new film with fellow rapper Scarface.
Principal photography recently wrapped on the independent film, "Consequences."
Chino also recently appeared on CBS' soap opera, "The Young and The Restless."
"It's interesting to have the young security on the CBS lot recognize me as Chino XL the rapper and the older security dudes recognize me as Chino XL, the problem," Chino told AllHipHop.com.
Next up, Chino will portray an undercover LAPD detective in an upcoming indie film.
In related news, the first single from Chino's highly anticipated Poison Pen album will be "Wordsmith" and will debut on AllHipHop.com.
Chino and Scarface are planning to collaborate for a song on the Poison Pen album as well.
The album features Ice Cube, D'Angelo, Killah Priest, Fantom of the Beat (Ghostface Killa, "Magic Stick") Buff Billions (who produced tracks for "Here To Save You All") and upcoming producers Nkredible and Ghost.
