Underground rap vet Apathy -- known from hip-hop groups such as the Demigodz, Army of the Pharaohs, and the Get Busy Committee, among others -- drops a visual for his latest single, "Check To Check," which samples Andre 3000's verse on Outkast's classic "Elevators" track.
In the Anthony DeRose-directed film, Apathy walks around his hood in the dead of an east coast winter, spitting about the struggles of being an emcee who refuses to conform to trends and/or pop radio.
Filmed with mostly family and friends (and a few strange extras who had no idea they were being filmed), "Check To Check" is an honest look at really real life sh**.
The Evidence-produced rack is off Ap's upcoming third solo LP, Honkey Kong, set to drop August 23.
