Its been months, since Kanye first revealed that he and Jay-Z were planning a collaborative project back in August, titled Watch The Throne.
While details about the project are scarce, a new development for the project was unveiled on Sunday night (July 3) when the official artwork was released on WatchTheThrone.com.
In addition to the coverart unveiling, links to pre-order the album were also added -- which includes a standard and a deluxe version, both in physical and MP3 formats. However, a release date is still unknown.
The lack of information about the album has helped fuel a slew of rumors. Earlier this month, The Source magazine reported that the album would be dropping July 4, but that rumors was squashed with Jay's management told VH1 that the Independence Day release was "not happening."
G.O.O.D. Music artist CyHi the Prynce told MTV that Watch The Throne was "ready to go," but didn't offer any further details.
Another rumor floating around is about a new single. Ryan Seacrest said on his L.A. radio show this week that word is "Lift Off", featuring Beyoncé and Bruno Mars, would next single and that it would arrive by July 11 with the album following in August.
Nothing has been confirmed by Def Jam as of press time.
