The company that recently brokered a deal to bring Jay-Z's 40/40 Club to the United Kingdom has confirmed that the rapper and soccer player Ashley Cole have gone into business together.
According to a press release the NVA Entertainment Group released to Reuters, the pair are scouting a new location for the 40/40 Club's first location in Europe.
“London is one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the world and the perfect location for our new venue,” Jay-Z said in a statement. “I'm excited about working with Ashley and NVA Entertainment Group on a range of new projects and the 40/40 London is going to be the hottest place in town.”
According to NVA, 40/40 London will feature top DJs and eight–list artists along with a modern American themed menu for the restaurant and bar.
According to Reuters, a grand opening will be held next year and will boasts a number of celebrities, actors, singers and athletes.
“I am delighted to be working with Jay-Z I have grown up listening to his music and now to be doing business with them is amazing," Ashley Cole said. "The projects we do will be delivering much-needed funds back into sport and music on a local community level as well as helping talented young people get back to work.”
Jay-Z currently has 40/40 locations in New York City and Atlantic City.
