British rapper Dizzee Rascal may be been banned from British Airways, after an incident on an airplane yesterday (July 9th).
The rapper was in route to the Optimust Alive!11 music festival in Portugal, but was forced to scrap the appearance after the incident on the airplane.
According to the UK's Daily Star newspaper, the rapper was involved in an argument with an airline stewardess.
Sources told the paper that Dizzee Rascal threw a tantrum because the plane was delayed.
Dizzee Rascal was supposed to headline the Optimist Alive!11 event, which is a four-day festival that took place from July 6th through July 9th in Lisbon.
Other artists that performed included The Foo Fighters, The Chemical Brothers, Jane's Dddiction, Blondie, Iggy & The stooges and others.
Representatives for Dizzee Rascal have yet to make a comment about the incident on the British Airways flight.
In 2006, British Airways banned rapper Snoop Dogg for life after a 2006 incident in Heathrow Airport, in which a massive brawl erupted between Snoop Dogg's entourage and airport security.
Snoop and five members of his entourage were arrested after the brawl, which resulted in seven officers being injured.
Snoop, was later banned from entering the United Kingdom after the incident.
Senior immigration officials overturned the ban in April of 2008, after videotape surfaced proving that Snoop Dogg did not initiate the altercation.
