  • Bone Thugs Prep Their Farewell Performance in Cleveland; Drake To Perform

Cleveland, Ohio natives bone Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will reunite to deliver their final performance during the celebration for their native city's 215th birthday.

The legendary rap group will be joined by Toronto, Canada native Drake, who will make his second appearance ever in the city this weekend.

“Although I recently announced that I was parting ways with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, this year’s Cleveland, Ohio homecoming is a great opportunity for us to reunite, represent and give back to our hometown” said Krayzie Bone. “Don't get it twisted, there is more to Cleveland than just Lebron James or Bone Thugs, and I will make sure that this fact is well known!”

Over 10,000 people are expected to attend this year's four-day celebration, which starts today (July 20th) and ends on Sunday, July 24th.

“I am honored to share this moment with the City of Cleveland," Drake said. "I will do all I can to show my appreciation for a place that has always faithfully supported my music since day one.”

The final performance will be bittersweet for Bong Thugs-N-Harmony, who have not performed together as a unit in over two years.

According to group member Layzie Bone, the city of Cleveland was instrumental in shaping his life and career path.

“I love my city, it’s what shaped Bone's character to become one of the worlds best selling Hip Hop groups of all time. Cleveland can expect us to deliver a totally live performance that will be remembered by all those that attend for the rest of our lives. And will be talked about by generations to come, flat out we rock out! Cleveland Rocks!"

Cleveland's 215th birthday celebration is taking place at the Port of Cleveland Dock 28 and 30, directly behind Cleveland Browns Stadium.
