  • Philadelphia Eagles' Asante Samuels Launches Career As Rapper During NFL Lockout

While many people are hopeful that the NFL's lockout could end today (July 21st), Philadelphia Eagles' Asante Samuels is planning a backup career as a rapper, just in case.

Video recently surfaced of Asante Samuels in the recording studio laying down vocals on a track with Broward County, Florida rappers, Goons United by the New School.

The Philadelphia Eagles Cornerback and 2010 Pro Bowler drops a verse on the track “Overtime” with the group.

However, Samuels career as a rapper may never take off, as NFL owners are slated to approve a final agreement with players today, to end the NFL lockout between owners and players, that has been going on since March.

G.U.N.S. recently dropped a new mixtape titled "iPod Musik."
