Amy Winehouse Cause of Death Inconclusive; Sources Say Bad Ecstasy To Blame
Police in London have announced that the cause of death of singer Amy Winehouse has yet to be established.
According to reports Amy Winehouse's bodyguard discovered her lifeless body in bed on Saturday (July 23rd) in her London flat.
Police said an inquiry has been opened in regards to her death and that it could take as many as 4 weeks to receive the toxicology results.
The 27-year-old singer's body was turned over to her parents, Mitch and Janis, who had seen the singer a day before she passed away.
Sources are now reporting that in addition to being on an alcohol binge, Winehouse may have died taking a bad ecstasy pill.
Other British tabloids have reported that Amy Winehouse was seen purchasing a number of drugs the night before her death.
Mitch Winehouse visited a memorial fans set up for his daughter's Camden home.
