Maybach Music Group collective Carol City Cartel a.k.a. Triple C's have reached a deal with the Urban Wrestling Federation (UWF), to take part in the rising sports entertainment company's future endeavors and pay-per-view specials.
The UWF has expanded their roster of talent to include Triple C's group members Gun Play, Torch, and Young Breed, who will each be utilized in the programming, characterization and promotion of future of all UWF events.
According to reps for the UWF, Triple C's will take part in an upcoming pay-per-view, which will be taped at an arena in Miami this Fall.
Additionally, Triple C's will be featured on an upcoming promotional mixtape for the UWF. The tracks on the mixtape will be used as various wrestlers intro music.
Just last week, Triple C's and UWF founder and CEO Steve “The Hustler” Karel hit South Beach, to film promotional spots for the UWF, which will be used in the next broadcast.
“We’re thrilled to have the Carol City Cartel artists, Gun Play, Torch and Young Breed of the Maybach Music Group involved in the Urban
Wrestling Federation,” UWF President Steve Karel told AllHipHop.com. “As we continue to grow the federation, more and more top-level talent are coming to the table realizing that the ring is the newest place for artists to gain exposure and prove that they’ve got what it takes to hold their own and prove domination.”
The UWF launched "First Blood," its first pay-per-view special last month.
A number of Hip-Hop artists participated in the event, including rap legend Melle Mel, 40 Glocc, Red Café, Uncle Murda, Brisco, Billy Blue, L.E.P. Bogus Boys, Cuban Link, Big Block and others.
