Foxy Brown's brother/manager Gavin Marchand will spend at least 2 1/2 years in jail, after pleading guilty to credit card fraud yesterday (August 18th).
Marchand pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree identity theft, after being caught using a fake MasterCard and a bogus American Express card, at upscale boutique Hermes in Manhattan.
The incident unfolded on August 7th, 2010, when Marchand and three associates attempted to buy $7,882 worth of merchandise from the store.
Undercover officers spotted the scheme, but Marchand and his associates fled the scene, leading police on a 90 mph chase through Manhattan before finally being stopped and arrested.
According to the New York Post, Gavin Marchand will turn himself in on September 28th, when he will be sentenced to the prison term.
