Nas will debut a new song titled "Train" and add some lyrics to Gary Clark Jr.'s "Bright Lights."
Nas and singer-songwriter Gary Clark Jr. are slated to collaborate on a track for ESPN’s NFL Draft coverage.
According to THR, ESPN made the announcement earlier today regarding the duet, which will be used during the NFL Draft from April 26-28 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, New York.
Esco will provide two songs from Life is Good - “Train” and “The Don” - for the event, while Clark will supply “Bright Lights.” Nas will also add some new lyrics to Clark’s track.
“I know this from experience: every rookie has the chance to become a Hall of Famer,” Nas said. “It’s why we never miss a game, even a play. Props to the NFL and ESPN for keeping us hooked on professional football all year round.”
"I have mad respect for Nas and the things he's put out there over the years,” Clark said. “I really enjoyed working on this project with ESPN and look forward to seeing the whole thing come together.”
