A shooting leaves two people dead near a popular night spot on the city's west side Sunday morning.
Police responded to two people being shot at 38th St. and Georgetown Rd., near the night club Cloud 9. One of the victims was found dead at the scene, the other was taken to Methodist hosptial, where he was pronounced dead.
A witness says someone in a car shot at another car then drove away.
Police had a heavy presence in the area prior to the shooting because of reports of overcrowding at Cloud 9, where a Yo Gotti concert was happening.
Police say the Pike fire marshal was called in to shut down the concert because the building was overcapacity.
