Usher's stepson Kile Glover was removed from life support and died this weekend.
A little over a week ago, tragedy struck when Usher's 11-year-old stepson Kile Glover was hit by a jet ski and pronounced brain dead by doctors. Now, in a recent report from HipHopWired, it appears as if Kile has passed away.
According to the report, Usher's estranged wife Tameka Foster decided to have her son removed from life support. The decision came after doctors said that Kile's injuries were too damaging to recover from.
"We know God's in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time," the family said in a statement to CNN. "We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it's the best way we can all support him now."
A number of other notables from the Hip Hop community have reached out to Usher and the Glover family to send their support, including Russell Simmons.
