Lil Flip says his gun was legit and that he wasn't driving with marijuana on deck.
Last week, Lil Flip was arrested in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana after reportedly being found with drugs and a firearm.
Flip was foudn with a Bushmaster AR-15 assault rifle and some marijuana, leading to a litany of charges: third-offense possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, and speeding.
Flip has posted bond, however, and took to Twitter to complain about the arrest - and the officer who made it. Flip explained that he had a license for the gun, and that the substance he was found with wasn't marijuana:
"“#FRESHOUT???? GOOGLE OFFICER#9845 DENNIS, BUCKINGHAM IN MANSFIELD ,LOUISIANA I HAVE A GUN LICENSE..???? AND BLACK N MILD GUTS AIN’T GANJA???? ME SAVAGE BEEN OUT SINCE YESTER DAY…IF MY GUN WAS A PROBLEM WHY IS IT STILL IN MY TRUNK.. IT’S ALL GOOD," he Tweeted.
