Federal prosecutors in Brooklyn, New York won a key decision in the on going investigation of Murder Inc. for money laundering and violence.
FBI agents allege Tyrone "Tah Tah" Moore told them that he knew Irv Gotti and had collected money on behalf of the CEO a source told the New York Daily News.
Informants have told investigators that Murder Inc. was backed and secretly controlled by former Queen's crack kingpin Richard "Supreme" McGriff.
Officials have been attempting to turn Moore, who fathered a child with Pepa of Salt-n-Pepa fame.
Moore is facing 15 years in prison on gun charges and denied that he told the FBI anything.
Moore told the judge he knew not to speak to police and his lawyer, Marvyn Kornberg, argued unsuccessfully that the statements were inadmissible because Moore's council wasn't present.
The judge ruled Moore voluntarily waived his right to remain silent.
Moore is also a friend of Onyx member Fredro Starr.
"Me and Tah Tah isreal cool peoples," Starr told AllHipHop.com in January. "He was holding me down, a real gentleman, but he's definitely a thug."
