  • Bizzy Bone payment disputes

Having recently signed with the label Koch Records, Bizzy Bone and Layzie Bone, both members of the former rap group Bone Thugs and Harmony, are now in the midst of payment disputes over the production of their new album titled The Bone Brothers.

Koch Records are refusing to pay the artists for the work that they have recently completed for the label, with $33,000 still owing to Bizzy Bone. Koch Records have agreed to settle the dispute by agreeing to pay Bizzy Bone the outstanding amount, but what they neglected to tell the artist is that they were required to take a fee of $25,000 for the mixing and mastering of the album. With neither Bizzy Bone nor Koch Records ready to settle the dispute, the only available option left to Bizzy Bone is to seek judicial action against Koch Records.

Bizzy Bone's public relations agent at J&M Entertainment issued the following statement regarding the matter; "This is a factual press release from J&M Entertainment, straight from Bizzy's mouth. After the long recording KOCH has failed to release funds to Bizzy. Once the funds have been paid we will release another press release to clear the name of KOCH Entertainment. Thank you for contacting me in regards to this news”.
