Louisiana authorities restricting C-Murder's lawyer

C-Murder's lawyer Ron Rakosky has been restricted from bringing any materials to jail meetings except for a pencil and pad under a March 16 agreement, the AP reported. Pens were prohibited because of their hollowness and ability to hold song lyrics, according to Sheriff Harry Lee's attorney. C-Murder recently irked Louisiana authorities after he recorded segments of his album and music video while behind bars.

The New Orleans rapper is currently incarcerated in Jefferson Parish jail on a second-degree murder charge of a 16-year-old. His attorney has requested an appeal to review a court's March 10 ruling that upheld the rapper's conviction. C-Murder would serve a life sentence if the conviction is upheld.

They had LOTS of footage of Martha Stewart in prison in the yards and they didnt take anything away from her. They're just mad cause he's making money. Other people can have pens in jail why can't he have any? It makes no sense to take away the rights that everyone else has.

And don't get me started on his BS trial. The district attorney cleared some of the prosecution witnesses' criminal records in exchange for saying C-Murder killed that kid. Even C-Murder's rap name and lyrics were also considered as evidenece. Its sad because more people sad he didn't do it than people that said he did.
