A brawl abruptly ended a birthday party for Chicago rapper Da Brat early Sunday morning (April 10) after uninvited guests attempted to enter the party at the Harold Washington Cultural Center.
At around 1:30 a.m., two men allegedly shoved past security guards at the venue, Chicago police spokeswoman JoAnn Taylor told South Florida's Sun Sentinel.
After the men started shouting, a fistfight erupted between the two men and the security guards, according to police.
As party-goers joined in on the fight, one person allegedly struck a security guard in the head with a handgun, police said.
Four men were arrested and charged in connection to the fight.
More than 100 people, including Twista and actress Lisa-Raye attended the party, which was the second celebrating Da Brat's 31st birthday.
The first was a private reception at Pressure Point recording studio.
