Xzibit’s Open Bar Entertainment and Contrabandit.com have teamed together to bring the Hip-Hop talent showcase “Rhyme Night” to Long Beach, California.
The event is being held at The Vault 350 on April 29th and will be hosted and broadcast live by Power 106FM’s Felli Fel.
The evening will feature a performance from Planet Asia and a special appearance and performance by Ras Kass, who was recently released from prison.
The evening’s headliner however, will be none other than Xzibit himself, who will perform various songs from his latest release “Weapons of Mass Destruction.”
Xzibit’s performance will also feature his group Strong Arm Steady (Krondon, Phil the Agony and Mitchy Slick).
“This time we are thrilled to bring the showcase to Long Beach, a city with its own unique Hip-Hop history,” Xzibit said. “Rhyme Night continues to provide a platform for the West Coast’s best and brightest MC’s.”
Bringing the showcase to Long Beach and getting radio’s Power 106FM to broadcast were both highlights for the co-founders when putting the show together, “

Rhyme Night was founded in 2003 by Xzibit and Contrabandit.com co-founder Ryan Ford and has become a platform for the best unsigned and signed acts to display their talent throughout the West Coast.
Look for upcoming releases from Planet Asia (The Medicine) Ras Kass (Institutionalized I and II) and Strong Arm Steady (Arms and Hammers) this summer.
