Last week, DMX avoided a court date in his paternity case, while The RZA appeared in Family Court in his case.
DMX aka Earl Simmons didn't appear in a scheduled court date in Erie County Family Court last week. The hearing was slated to determine whether X was the father of Davita Oden's 3-year-old daughter, Jada of Buffalo, New York.
According to reports, a DNA test revealed that X is 99% likely to be the child's father. Simmons' attorney, Noemi Fernandez Hiltz, requested another test. Oden's lawyer, Suzanne Kimberly Bracker, demanded that the judge issue a warrant for Simmons' arrest because he missed the court date.
The judge denied both requests and gave X one more chance to appear at a hearing next month. X has another paternity case pending in Maryland and his wife recently gave birth.
Meanwhile, The RZA aka Robert Diggs, appeared in Family Court last week. Diggs skipped the DNA testing and admitted to being the father of Jamie Summer's 4-year-old daughter, Rahindia.
According to New York's Daily News, The RZA gave the publication the runaround for three months and claimed that he never heard of Summer. According to Bracker, who also represents Summer, RZA couldn't deny his resemblance to the child or resist her when she jumped into his arms. RZA has reportedly been asked to support six kids by different mothers. He claims his income was between $125,000 and $150,000 last year.
