In recent weeks, rumors began spreading that G-Unit was courting M.O.P., Guerrilla Black, Lil' Scrappy, Mobb Deep and Three Six Mafia. The First Family even confirmed the reports and added that they were open to screaming "M.O.P.-Unit" given the opportunity. Meanwhile Guerrilla Black was heard shouting G-Unit in a recent track. As for Scrappy, reports are increasingly stating that his sophomore release might drop via a joint venture between Lil Jon's BME imprint and G-Unit Records.
The rumors were further fueled by Scrappy's cameo in Fiddy's "Candy Shop" video and Lil's Jon slot alongside 50 and Eminem on the upcoming Anger Management 3 tour. In a recent SOHH.com interview, Tony Yayo hinted that G-Unit might sign some of the aforementioned artists. "Some of them…I don't really wanna put it out there. But we got something up the sleeve," Yayo told SOHH.com. "A lot of stuff is about to happen. It's gon be real big, so I can't really put it out there like that."
