  • Boxer Floyd Mayweather Dives Into Hip-Hop

Three-time World Champion boxer Floyd Mayweather is quickly transitioning into a new trade – the music industry - and he’s already recruited a rapper to rep his imprint.

“My label Philthy Rich Records is coming soon and I got my man H-Flow, who is straight out of Cleveland,” Mayweather told AllHipHop.com. “He’s the punch line king. You can expect to hear something real soon. You gotta check him out, he’s incredible. We should have something by the end of the summer.”

Mayweather joins other sports stars like fellow boxers Zab “Super” Judah and Roy Jones, as well as NHL Hockey player Anson Carter, who have announced rap-oriented labels.

Thus far, Mayweather’s best business has taken place in the boxing ring.

In June, Mayweather brutally bested Arturo Gatti to take the WBC Super Lightweight Championship and also has been widely proclaimed to be the beat boxer pound-for-
    pound.

“It meant everything to me, to be a three-time world champion was a dream to me. I dreamt this as a young boy and it came true,” Mayweather said of his victory.

Prior to the Gatti bout, Mayweather (34-0, 23 KOs) was a two-time world champion and the 27-year-old native of Grand Rapids, MI already has his eyes set on fighting Winky Wright, who put the legendary Felix Trinidad into retirement.
