The Game recently signed on to make his feature film debut in Rogue Pictures' action flick, Waist Deep.
The film also stars Meagan Good (Deliver Us From Eva, 50 Cent's "21 Questions" video), Larenz Tate (Dead Presidents, Menace II Society) and Tyrese (Baby Boy, 2 Fast 2 Furious). The movie is directed by Vondie Curtis Hall (Glitter, Gridlock'd) and centers around O2, an ex-con played by Tyrese. O2 wants to clean his life up, but must face his past when his son is captured by crime lord Meat, played by The Game. O2's cousin Wanna-Be (Tate) seeks the help of hustler Coco (Good). With the pressure mounting, Tate and Good's characters form a Bonnie & Clyde -like union on the way to save Junior from Meat. Russell Simmons and Stan Lathan will executive produce the film.
As previously reported by SOHH.com, The Game is also set to star in The Millionaires Boys Club. The flick, which is co-produced by Chuck Taylor and his longtime friend NBA star Baron Davis, is loosely based on the Left Coast emcee's life. The Millionaire Boys will be directed by Cess Silvera, director of the cult classic flick, Shottas, featuring Wyclef Jean and model Tyson Beckford. Game will incarnate the lead character "G" while former Groove Theory producer Bryce Wilson and actor Michael K. Williams of "The Wire" will star alongside him.
While early reports said the flick was set to premiere this summer, it has yet to hit the big screen. A date has yet to be announced for the movie's theatrical release.
