Compton, California rapper The Game has been hit with a lawsuit by a former associate, claiming the rapper assaulted him during a video shoot.
According to the lawsuit, Eddie Green and The Game, born Jayceon Taylor, know each other from their days attending Compton High School.
Green claims The Game and others attacked and assaulted him as he watched the rapper filming a music video.
Green is seeking an undisclosed amount.
Other defendants include Aftermath Entertainment, Black Wall Street, Interscope Records and Lacy Street Productions, a Los Angeles based production studio.
In related news, the rapper is joining the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts by donating his fully customized 2005 Bentley Continental GT to Morgan Freeman and Charity Folks' auction.
The rapper will also donate the proceeds from his upcoming sneaker line to the victims.
The 2005 Bentley was given to Game by 310 Motoring, the high-end car customization and upscale clothing and apparel company, as a signing bonus for his upcoming sneaker deal with the company.
The "Hurricane by 310" shoe, which is scheduled to hit stores in December, will be the first steps for 310 Motoring into athletic footwear.
A portion of the proceeds of the sale of each shoe will go towards hurricane relief.
310's parent company has already donated 11,000 pair of shoes to the American Red Cross as well as $50,000.
The 2005 Bentley Continental GT, which is valued at over $250,000, is the largest auctioned item donated thus far.
The car will be added to the list of donated items from celebrities such as Susan Sarandon, John Larroquette, George Clooney, Dakota Fanning, Greg Norman and B.B. King that are posted on the auctions website.
All of the proceeds, less credit card processing fees, are going to aid hurricane victims through the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
The Charity Folks auction in conjunction with Morgan Freeman is cited as being one of the leading online auction venues and has raised over $300,000 for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

The auction closes on September 21, 2005 at 6 PM EST.
