M.O.P. is accusing Koch Records of being in breach of contract for promoting their new album, The St. Marxmen, as their debut under G-Unit.
However a Koch Records rep, who wished to remain anonymous, tells SOHH.com that that's not the case: "[M.O.P.'s manager] Laze is well-aware that his statements are incorrect. Everything about this project was signed off and approved by Laze."
Because of the disagreement between Koch and M.O.P.'s camp the album will be pulled off the shelves and repackaged sometime next year, after their official G-Unit debut.
In related Koch news, the label will be re-releasing some of Deathrow's classic material such as Tupac's All Eyes on Me and Makaveli, Dr. Dre's The Chronic and Snoop Doggy Dogg's Doggystyle. All the releases will be reissued as DualDiscs and will include videos from these albums.
