Snoop Dogg has announced a new worldwide, multi-album joint-venture partnership for his Doggystyle Records with Koch Records.
The first release under the partnership, Snoop Dogg Presents: Welcome To Tha Chuuch Tha Album, arrives on December 13-just in time for the holidays.
The album serves as a follow-up to Snoop's Welcome to Da Chuuch mixtapes, of which there have been seven volumes thus far.
The album features new music from Dogg Pound Gangsta Clique (DPGC), Nate Dogg, Kurupt, Lady of Rage, Daz Dillinger, Tiffany Foxxx, RBX, Soopafly, Half-Dead, Mira-Mira, Mykestro as well as the man himself-Snoop Dogg.
Los Angeles' Power 106 in has already begun spinning one of the new album's cuts, DPGC's "Real Soon."
Another recent venture for Snoop was the creation of the Snoop Youth Football league. By offering reduced fees, the SYFL is a youth football league aimed at kids who otherwise couldn't afford to play in other organized youth leagues.
In addition to his work in music, sports and film-notable appearances include "Training Day," "Baby Boy" and "Starsky & Hutch," Snoop is now a shoe designer as well. Earlier this year, he partnered with sneaker company Pony International to produce a line of limited edition shoes called Doggy Biscuitz.
