  • Snoop and The Game Sued For Concert Beatdown

After being allegedly beaten onstage last year, a Kent, WA man has filed a $20 million civil lawsuit against Snoop Dogg, The Game, Kurupt, Daz Dillinger and Soopafly.

Filed in Los Angeles' Superior Court, the suit describes Richard Monroe II, 25, as a "loyal fan" of Snoop and alleges that he "was ruthlessly attacked" by the Doggfather's bodyguards and other rappers. According to reports, the rappers were in Auburn, WA's White River Amphitheatre as part of the How The West Was Won tour on May 28 of last year.

The suit also claims Monroe jumped onstage after an "open invite" while Snoop was performing "Gin and Juice." The suit then describes how Monroe attempted to put his arm around Snoop in a friendly manner moments before being beat down. The suit seeks $20 million and $2 million in compensatory damages.

"Monroe did nothing suggestive of hostility and nothing whatsoever to provoke the violent response that ensued," the suit states. "Bodyguards thereafter grabbed Monroe and attacked him by striking him with fists and kicks for approximately 35 seconds."

In related news, a recent Snoop show at Las Vegas' Rio Hotel and Casino was cancelled. The private performance for the Coors Brewing Company was called off after the hotel bowed to the pressure of the Las Vegas Police and the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
