Lil' Eazy-E Arrested On Gun Charges
Lil' Eazy-E, son of the late N.W.A founder Eazy-E, was arrested on gun charges in Compton, California on Saturday night (June 10).
According to the Los Angeles Times, Lil Eazy (Born Eric Wright Jr.), was pulled over in his vehicle by Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies for a traffic violation on Compton Boulevard.
When the deputies searched the car, they found firearms on Lil' Eazy and on one of his two other passengers.
"Mr. Wright was in possession of a firearm and he was arrested," said Lt. Michael Alerich. "Two other guys in the car were also arrested, one for possession of a firearm and the other for a probation violation."
The names of Lil' Eazy's passengers were not released.
In related news , rumors have been circulating that 50 Cent is trying to sign Lil' Eazy to his G-Unit label. E, who is working on his debut album titled Prince Of Compton, is featured on the "Waist Deep" soundtrack.
The soundtrack, due in stores on June 13th, features songs from Ghostface, Jim Jones and Nate Dogg, while the movie, starring Tyrese, The Game and Meagan Good, opens in theaters on June 23.
