Former Power 105 morning show DJ Star is looking to settle the score with the city councilman who called him out at a press conference in May that resulted in his radio contract being terminated.
According to the NY Daily News the former host of Power 105's "Star & Bucwild Morning Show" Troi Torain is set to file a $55 million lawsuit against against Queens city councilman John Liu today. In his suit, Torain claims that Liu's May attack against him was motivated "by his desire for self-promotion and aggrandizement."
Liu's press conference came after comments Star made on the air during a heated rivalry with Hot 97's DJ Envy.
