DMX will soon be heading out on his first USO Tour to perform for troops stationed in the Persian Gulf region.
Established in 1941, the USO (United Service Organizations) has been providing entertainment to troops as well as providing morale, welfare and recreational services to U.S. military personnel and their families.
According to a USO spokesperson, the Yonkers bred rapper will give three performances during the tour and will also visit with soldiers. Dates and venues of the tour could not be disclosed due to security reasons.
Past USO tours in the Persian Gulf region have featured performances from Master P, Lil' Romeo, Nappy Roots, Bubba Sparxxx and 50 Cent, among others.
In related news, DMX's traffic case, involving his June 2nd speeding violation in White Plains, NY, got adjourned until September 14th, according to his attorney Murray Richman. The case was scheduled to go to court this past Monday (August 21st), after already getting adjourned once before.
