Becoming increasingly popular for her tardiness, Foxy Brown kept her first court-ordered appointment yesterday (August 29) with Department of Probation officials.
Foxy (born Inga Marchand) pleaded guilty in a New York court Monday afternoon (August 28th) to assaulting two manicurists in Manhattan's Bloomie Nails in 2004.
The guilty plea spared the Brooklyn bred rapper from jail time but placed her on three years probation. She was also ordered to take anger management classes.
According to The New York Post, during her meeting with probation officials on Wednesday, Brown was questioned about her work, family and financial situations. She was also given a chance to express remorse about her admitted assault on the two manicurists.
Brown's legal issues are still far from over. She is facing harassment charges filed by her former personal assistant, Rasheeda Ellis.
Last Wednesday (August 23rd), Brown missed a mandatory court date in Jersey City for the case.
It was the second time the rapper had failed to show up in court, forcing the judge to warn her attorney that an arrest warrant would be issued if she failed to show up again.
The case is due back in court on September 26th.
Brown was also recently accused of stealing two belts valued at $400 a piece, from high end New York boutique L'impasse in a case in which the store's owner, Tony Khayat, has chosen to press charges.
Authorities reportedly have footage of the incident and are determining whether or not they will arrest Brown.
