Looks like Fat Joe has jumped ship at Atlantic Records, for Virgin Records, where he will release his new album, Me, Myself & I, in a joint venture with Imperial Records, a new urban label development unit of Caroline Distribution.
The rapper said previously that he would release the album through his own Terror Squad imprint.
The new album will feature guest appearances from Lil' Wayne and Game, while production features include Scott Storch, DJ Khaled and the Runners, among others.
It will follow-up 2005's All Or Nothing, which was a commercial failure with only 293,000 sold in the US to date.
"No hard feelings, but they weren't feeling what I was asking for," Joe said of split with Atlantic, according to Billboard.com. "I've always been an artist to them, and they didn't understand me asking for my own imprint. But one man's trash is another man's treasure."
Me, Myself & I is slated for release November 14.
