Damon Dash is expected to appear in court later this month to continue the ongoing custody battle over his 14 year old son, Damon Dash Jr.
According to the New York Post, Linda Williams, the mother of Dash Jr., will be petitioning for her visitation rights.
In 2002, Dash won custody over his son. Dash claims his son doesn't want to go with Linda, who says Dash influences the child not to.
Williams' father will also be petitioning for visitation rights.
Dash and Williams have been in and out of court for various other occurrences besides custody of their son.
In June, Dash was cleared of assault allegations made by Williams, who claimed the Harlem bred entrepreneur smacked her when they met over their son at a public park in uptown NYC.
Dash's aforementioned court appearance is set to take place on September 28.
In related news, Dash partnered with Koch Records in May for his Damon Dash Music Group. The label's first release will be a new album by dancehall artist Sizzla. Sizzla's album, entitled The Overstanding, is expected to be released later this year.
