  • Foxy Brown's Former Assistant Drops Harassment Charges

According to The Associated Press, a former Foxy Brown associate recently dropped two charges against the rapper, one of which included making terrorist threats, in a New Jersey Municipal Court on Tuesday (September 26).

The accuser, Rasheeda Ellis, who is a former consultant to Brown's management company, agreed to drop the charges as part of a deal worked out between both parties that outlined that the two women not have any contact with each other and that they not discuss the details of the case in the media.

Brown was present at the hearing at the advice of the judge, after skipping a brief court hearing on the charges last month.

After the court proceedings, Brown's lawyer, Brian J. Neary, asked that the judge grant a request to bar the media from taking pictures of the Brooklyn MC as she entered and left the court building but had his request denied. A visibly more calm Foxy offered no comments as she left the court house.

This is just the latest in a string of legal problems for the rapper. Brown pleaded guilty last month in a New York court to misdemeanor assault charges stemming from a 2004 altercation with a salon worker over a manicure. While avoiding jail time, Brown was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to attend anger management classes.
