Three Strikes You're Out, DMX Busted Behind The Wheel Again
DMX's legal woes behind the driver seat continue to mount as the Yonkers bred rapper was charged with traffic infractions yesterday (October 9), after being stopped on the Saw Mill River Parkway in New York.
According to The Journal News, DMX (born Earl Simmons) was traveling north on the parkway at Yonkers Avenue and was stopped at 1 p.m. after his 2001 Chevrolet Suburban was found to be uninspected.
A computer check found that X's registration was suspended because of parking violations and that he was unlicensed.
"He was fully cooperative," Lt. Henry Cetina of the WestchesterCounty told The Journal News.
DMX received three summonses and his vehicle was impounded. He is due in City Court on December 18.
This marks the third time this year that X has been busted behind the wheel. In June, he was ticketed for two different violations including driving unsafely without a license and causing an accident by driving on the shoulder of a road.
