Stores across the country are refusing to stock the new album from Ice T because he appears naked on the cover with his stripper-wife, Coco.
The cover of Gangsta Rap, Ice-T's first studio album in seven years, shows him lying on his back in bed with a full shot of his wife's backside and one of her legs strategically draped over his groin.
Compared to the openly-pornographic films Ice T has hosted in past years, including Pimpin’ 101, the cover photo is mild in comparison. But his record label Melee Recordings says most retailers don’t feel the cover is appropriate to feature on store shelves.
Ice T isn’t concerned. "What can I say, I have been doing these kinds of things for years. …You should see the picture when Coco's leg is not there."
