After ignoring Dipset's shots for months, Jay-Z has answereed with "Dig A Hole," a diss track targeting the Harlem crew.
Though Hov had only taken subliminal shots at Cam'ron since his "You Got It" diss track, Jay has now dedicated an entire song to Dipset. While the subjects remain nameless, lines clearly address Damon Dash, Cam and Jay's former partner at Roc-A-Fella Records.
"Hov gon get you, I ain't forget your little disrespect/no, Hov daddy gon spank you for that shit you said/it's hard to do when you got nothing to prove/everybody know you better you in a lose,lose/cause even when you win, ultimately you lose/real *****s like why Hov talking to dude/you sellin low too, only time you went plat/my chain was around your neck, that's an actual fact," Jigga spit in the third verse.
Though the Dips are targeted as a whole,Jim Jones and Juelz Santana appeared to have been left out of the line of fire.
Just recently, Jay appeared on Funk Master Flex's Hot 97 radio show and vented that Jim Jones had not accomplished anything to be taking shots at him. "Like who is Jim Jones to be saying something about me?," Jay told Flex.
Jones has taken Jigga's words and flipped them into a promotional tool for his recently released third album, Hustler's P.O.M.E (Product OF My Environment). Posters currently promoting the album read, "Who is Jim Jones? Ask Jay-Z November 7."
In other news, Hov is has reportedly shot a video for "Lost Ones," the second single off Kingdome Come. The album leaked over the weekend. Yet, reports are beginning to surface that the retail version will be different from the leaked copy.
Jay-Z's Kingdome Come hits stores November 21.
