Three 6 Mafia recently reached a settlement with a Pittsburgh man who claimed he was severely beaten during a 2003 performance by the group at a local nightclub.
Ramone Williams filed a lawsuit against the Memphis trio in March, claiming that when the group performed "Let's Start a Riot" at the now defunct Rock Jungle nightclub on August 26, 2003, he was allegedly thrown to the floor, hit with a chair, stomped on and kicked in the face. This resulted in extensive injuries, including a fractured jaw.
William's lawsuit also accused Three 6 Mafia of failing to warn the concert attendees that violence might occur before inciting the audience and that they failed to stop the violent behavior when it began.
According to The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the settlement was made last month and its details were sealed. Williams received a financial settlement that includes payment of his legal costs.
