Jay-Z recently announced his partnership with General Motors Corp. (GM) to collaborate on a new concept vehicle.
The business agreement, which was reportedly formed over the last two years, is among the first of its kind and will see Jay assisting in the details of GMC's new Yukon Denali.
Hova surprised guests this past Saturday (January 6) at a star studded event in Detroit, emerging from one of the vehicles on stage at the event to announce the collaboration. Other celebrities at the event included Vivica A. Fox, Dreamgirls star Jennifer Hudson, Rosie Perez and Carmen Electra.
"Hopefully I'll be able to drive one of them out of here tonight," Jay said about the SUV, which was painted "Jay-Z Blue." The Brooklyn, NY rapper worked with the company's global color studio to create the unique and reflective shade.
