Foxy Brown was arrested in Florida on February 15th for allegedly causing a disturbance at a local beauty store.
According to Miami Herald, authorities were called to the Queen Beauty Supply in Pembroke Pines after the Brooklyn bred rapper threw hair glue at Hayssam Ghoneim, an employee of the store, who asked her to leave the premises because the business was closing.
Ghoneim claims Foxy spat on him, while he was making the 911 call, leaving a saliva stain on his shirt. A police officer who arrived at the shopping plaza tried to get Foxy to return to the store as part of a criminal investigation, but she refused to do so and started swinging her arms and struggling with the officer when he attempted to escort her back to the store. The officer had to "use a takedown maneuver to gain control" of Brown, according to the police report.
Foxy (born Inga Marchand) was charged with battery and obstruction of justice. She was held in custody over night at Broward County's North Jail in Pompano Beach with her bond set at $1,500.
According to the police report, there were no injuries.
This marks the second time Foxy has been charged with battering. She was sentenced to probation and anger management classes last year after pleading guilty to assaulting two manicurists in Manhattan's Bloomie Nails in 2004.
