Sean "Diddy" Combs is under investigation for allegedly assaulting a man at an Oscar party held in Los Angeles last Sunday (February 25).
According to TMZ, Gerard Rechnitzer, a real estate agent, claims he and his fiancée where leaving the hotel when he stopped to use the restroom. When he walked out, he saw his wife-to-be surrounded by six men, including Combs.
Rechnitzer says he watched Combs flirt with his fiancée for about five minutes before intervening and asking her to leave with him. Combs then reportedly told the woman he was having a party and invited her.
Rechnitzer again asked his fiancée to leave with him. Combs then allegedly punched the estate agent in the jaw.
Rechnitzer called 911 and filed a report with the Los Angeles Police Department. Combs had left before the authoririrtes arrived. Rechnitzer declined medical treatment offered to him by paramedics.
The LAPD reportedly contacted Rechnitzer and five witnesses on Tuesday (February 28). Combs' publicist, Meghan Prophet, declined to comment when contacted.
